As I discussed in my last post–I’m SUPER excited about this giveaway! I have been impatiently waiting to announce this to my customers and followers for over two months!
Back in February I had contacted Freshly Picked with little hope that I would ever get a return email regarding a collaboration giveaway. I cannot even explain how excited I was to receive an email back from them! This has been an amazing experience and I’m so happy to be able to do this review for this product and this company!
One of the things that drew me to this company was the actual creator of these amazing little moccasins, Susan. You can read part of her story here. She’s a wife, mom, entrepreneur, author, and fills so many other roles! She built her business from the ground up and followed her passion to create the amazing business that you see today, Freshly Picked!
My mind instantly began racing about all the things I wanted to do to promote this giveaway and of course one of the first things that came to my mind was a photoshoot! One thing I have learned in the short time I have been doing this is great photos are SO important! I’m so grateful to have met a truly talented young woman who is also a mama following her passion, Courtney Jabaay, owner of Courtney Beth Photography. She instantly jumped on board with my vision and helped it come to life with the most beautiful photos of these products!
Another decision I made was waiting to release this “Happy” tee I created all the way back in January. Again, I was anxiously waiting to do this reveal because it is one of my favorite children’s shirts I have done thus far. If you are a parent this tee will majorly tug at your heart, because without a doubt I know your baby is “your happy” too. I knew this giveaway would be the perfect time to launch this shirt and I’m so glad I waited to do so!
On to the review!
Let me first and foremost say that I can be one of the “cheapest” people around. My husband is often lecturing me on this and that whole saying “you get what you pay for” is often the lecture I receive. I’m a sale/clearance shopper. You can bet yourself if you see me in line somewhere I’m quickly surfing the web trying to find an in store coupon I can use to save some cash (I’m pretty bad at “couponing” when it comes to groceries-but I’m a major Aldi shopper if that counts). I’d also like to point out that I would think twice about spending $60 on a pair of shoes for MYSELF, so I completely understand that the thought of spending $60 on a pair of kids shoes may seem a little “cray”. So, let’s get the question EVERYONE wants to know out of the way first–are these shoes worth the price?
Even being a cheapskate, my answer to you is YES. My daughter literally has worn these shoes over and over again. I chose the “Butterscotch” color because I wanted a neutral shoe that I could put with anything–and we’ve put them with EVERYTHING! These shoes have become a signature item in her little wardrobe and they make the perfect shoe always. I love that you can dress them up or dress them down and we get so many compliments on them.
Another reason I love our Freshly Picks is because they were created to stay on little, wide, chubby baby feet! Literally from the time my daughter was born we could tell she had my husbands feet–and let me tell you–poor girl inherited some majorly wide feet! I love those feet–but they can make it very difficult to find shoes that fit her correctly. We have no issues with these shoes when it comes to fit and they stay on perfectly always.
The softness and quality of these mocs will be something you notice right away–and it will be those two things that will keep you coming back for more and more Freshly Picked in your little ones life! My daughter will be two at the end of June and she is always on the go. She’s worn these shoes inside/outside and has ran her little, wide feet till they could run no more–these shoes are still in great condition.
One of my most favorite things about these shoes though is over time you will notice your little one’s foot print form on the bottom of this leather. I love being able to see those wide, little feet stamped on the bottom of these moccasins! Freshly Picked carries some pretty great cleaning/conditioning wipes where you can wipe these spots squeaky clean–I don’t know about you–but I’m quite partial to those little imprints–and I think I’ll keep them there! If you look closely in the photo below–you can see the little prints I’m so in love with!
So, as you can tell. I’m a Freshly Picked believer! Yes, I got this pair to review–but I went back and bought the same pair after receiving them in the next size up because I loved them so much I know I will not want to part with them once my sweet girl has outgrown them. In all honesty, I really did not think about the price when I purchased the second pair because I know how much we use these shoes and I love that I am able to support another woman who went after her dreams when she built her company. The quality is top notch-they add the best statement to your baby boos outfit-and I PROMISE there will be no regret with a purchase from Freshly Picked.
BUT-because I love each of you so much I want to share the love with all of you! Here’s your chance to win a pair of Freshly Picked moccasins in the COLOR AND SIZE of your choice for that special baby in your life! BUT-the giveaway doesn’t just stop there! The winner will also receive a $25 shop credit to Simply Emelia’s shop as well!

There are too many to choose from! I love them all,but would probably lean towards the grays (Granite or Swimmin with the Sharks). I have b/g twins so I would need to buy two pairs and just havent taken the plunge yet…twins are expensive…sooo many diapers! 🙂 I love your shirts, by the way. They are on my wish list for my littles. 🙂

Ugh! So many beautiful colors. I can’t choose just one but probably would go with something neutral like with cream and sugar or swimming with the sharks. But I do love the neon pink:)
